The Effect of Ageing, Gender and Environmental Problems in Subjective Well-Being

This paper studies the relationship of factors such as ageing, gender and environmental problems included in quality life (QoL) with subjective well-being represented by satisfaction (LS) indicator citizens 33 European countries. To do so, it uses LS a country’s dependent variable; variables independent variables; other QoL indicators macroeconomic control variables. Analysis data from World Values Survey (WVS) Study (EVS) for LS, Eurostat Bank indicators. The values have been treated based on individual WVS EVS percentages according to their levels country, we present four robust models (two logit model two OLS model). results show that arrears people aged 65 over are relation positive significative low LS. opposite is true income over. On hand, pollution, grime or inequality an inverse high satisfaction. Nonetheless, study has also shown contradictions gap poverty should be studied further.
